Meet your team

People & Culture [P&C] Local Services delivers HR Services where unique country support is required. We deliver consistent, standardized, and scalable HR services to our employees. We are combining local labor knowledge and have a deep process understanding, we are supporting efficient and compliant HR service delivery to our employees at SAP and our partners. We run crucial pre-payroll processes which are mission critical for business continuity. We are an execution-oriented, global team and partner in global projects and continuous improvement initiatives across all Human Resources.


We are currently searching for a part-time working student in Oslo, Norway (~ two days per week). As our new local colleague, you will be responsible to provide and resolve employee and manager queries, consult employees and carry-out operational HR administrative tasks across the whole employee life cycle (e.g. deliver the employee onboarding, contractual changes, consulting employees going on maternity leave). The successful candidate will closely team up with other local and global HR team members across all Nordic countries, work closely with Data Management, Facility, Payroll and colleagues from the local business units.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be tasked to ensure smooth HR Operations and handling of operational HR tasks in Norway. You will onboard new hires onsite and support the related administrative processes as well as support contractual changes, support benefits- and termination administration cases. You will be the second level support for all HR inquiries coming from local employees and managers in Norway. You will partner closely with all other HR functions locally and globally like the P&C Country Head, the P&C Business Partners, P&C Advisors and Center of Excellences (CoE) to solve employee issues. You will need to build reliable relationships with all Global P&C Service functions and other P&C departments to facilitate the delivery of our Services. You will need to collaborate and interact with vendors and governmental Institutions.

 

What you bring:

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
 

Education and qualifications / Skills and competencies:

You are currently studying Business, HR, (Labor-)Law, Psychology, Sociology or have a vested interest to get to know operational HR work. Knowledge of Norwegian laws and legislation is a plus. You are quality driven, analytical, and have problem-solving skills. You show a high level of accuracy with an exceptional attention to details. You can plan, work, drive and own initiatives and independently execute them without supervision. Ability to work in a truly international team where team members are co-located in different parts of the world and belong to different cultures. You act with the highest level of integrity as you will be exposed to confidential information. Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Norwegian and English language skills are mandatory and essential.
