What you’ll do: 

 

Position title: SAP Labs U.S. iXp Intern – Events & Operations  

Location: Palo Alto, CA 

Schedule: 40 HR/week 

Expected Start: March/April 2025 

 

In collaboration with teammates, the Labs U.S. Events and Operations iXp Intern will: 

Execute a wide variety of on-site events and activities in our Bay Area Offices (Palo Alto, San Ramon, and San Francisco) including but not limited to: social and cultural events, development learning events, and ecosystem events.  

Collaborate with the SAP Global Sponsorship team to manage and distribute employee engagement tickets to allocated events at SAP Center, Levi’s Stadium and Chase Center. 

Maintain and track operation documents for events and sponsorships 

Support the team’s communication efforts by crafting newsletter, email invitations and visual graphics 

Support with event feedback data collection and establish creative ways to share results. 

Organize and maintain the MS Teams channel for the Labs U.S. team. 

 

What you bring: 

 

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

 

Education: Bachelors or Apprenticeship certification with a focus on technology 

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program

Position Requirements:

MUST :  Abilitiy to attend events and activities on-site in Palo Alto, San Ramon and San Francisco at least 3x per week, possibly more depending on event schedule 

Must be highly organized 

Have an interest and/or experience in project management  

Must have a can-do, collaborative attitude willing to step in and pitch in as necessary 

Experience with MS Excel 

Desired Skills/Experience 

Experience with MS Outlook and MS Teams a plus

Experience with event planning and coordination 

Ability to travel to ALL 3 Bay Area office locations 

Flexible working hours to potentially support evening events 

Qualifications for the role (please indicate if qualification is desired or necessary)  

Studying business, communications, or other relevant fields

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15-62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
