We are hiring for a SAP Manager, Business Systems & Transformation, This role is focused on Managing, leading, driving, and strategically planning SAP systems and transformation efforts in delivering high-impact solutions within the SAP support organization. This position is responsible for addressing complex SAP business challenges, optimizing processes, and fostering collaboration across functions to enhance operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

Managing SAP Business process and Enhancements by analyzing and resolving complex SAP business problems, utilizing tools and technologies to deliver sustainable solutions. Create detailed enhancement designs tailored to end-user requirements and present them to SAP Functional Councils and IT.

Lead training for other SBUs coming into SAP on the new releases.

Drive and oversee material management strategies for inventory optimization

Manage and execute system regression testing for SAP upgrades and new releases, ensuring smooth implementation without disruption.

Strategic Planning for SAP Transformation leading initiatives to align SAP functionalities with organizational goals, including the transition to new divisional objectives, plant setups, and product launches.

Manage multiple project components, ensuring timely resolution of user trouble tickets. Continuously monitor project progress, address challenges, and achieve results aligned with organizational goals

Act as the SAP Liaison for Lean Events conducted by the business to continually enhance SAP service quality, service delivery and support

Driving Business Process Optimization of processes and procedures, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.

Monitor disciplined use of SAP systems and processes across Planning, and Inventory functions to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.

Drive change management and create communication plans to align stakeholders, improve end-user proficiency, and enhance system adoption.

Lead/ provide hands-on leadership to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Function as a business partner or consultant for functional management

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

A minimum of 7+ years of SAP hands on experience working in a focus area in the system.

2-3 years’ experience leading cross-functional team events, including continuous improvement/lean events and end user training

10-20% travel to Advanced Structures sites and other SBU’s as required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated skills in creative thinking, problem solving and decision-making

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines of multiple projects

Strong organizational and project management skills

Experience in problem solving, change management or process planning activities involving Senior Leadership (SLT).

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
