AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of SAP MDG Tech Lead.
The SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Technology Lead is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of SAP MDG solutions within the organization. This role involves overseeing the governance of master data across Supplier or Dealer data domains, ensuring data quality, compliance, and integration with other systems. The role collaborates closely with the digital data lead and product owners on understanding functional requirements, converts those into solution designs and work with technical team on implementing the same. The role brings MDG on S/4HANA experience in managing Dealer or Supplier data and expertise in data governance framework. The SAP MDG Tech Lead contributes towards ensuring timely delivery of the projects. Furthermore, the SAP MDG Tech Lead guides the team as an experienced MDG consultant and provides mentorship to ensure that they have the skills and support they need to complete their tasks. The SAP MDG Tech Lead is embedded in the Data & AI Governance Team and reports to the Manager, SAP MDG COE.
Your Impact
Act as the Tech Lead in the team of MDG consultants and ABAP developers (internal/consultants) for Dealer/Supplier Master Data Governance implementations and support. Configure and customize SAP MDG functionalities in alignment with organizational needs. Manage the integration of SAP MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems for seamless data flow. Oversee data migration projects, ensuring accurate data mapping and transformation. Collaborate with digital data leads / product owners to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Drive initiatives to automate data management processes and increase efficiency. Work with production support team to understand bugs. Prioritize and assign to the team to resolve them as per SLAs. Understand dependencies between solution components and assist delivery manager in assigning activities within the team to meet project timelines Work closely with Technical Architect- MDG or Enterprise Architects to define solution designs, arrive at technical decisions involved in MDG implementation Ensure development meets quality standards. Provide technical guidance to coach and mentor junior staff to build technical expertise and share knowledge. Stay informed about the latest SAP MDG features, industry trends, and best practices.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 2-3 years in leading MDG implementations in Supplier or Dealer data space Overall 7+ years’ experience in SAP MDG and other SAP systems Strong communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management Expert in advanced writing, verbal and other presentation skills in English Experience in working with data Experience in managing global diverse teams is a plus Experience in leading MDG implementations for supplier or customer master data Proficiency in SAP MDG configuration, data modeling, and governance processes. Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and data integration techniques. Strong understanding of Data Governance Framework Proven experience in coordinating technical teams, focused on implementations Focus for timely and high-quality delivery of projects Strong analytics thinking and problem solving Excellent internal and stakeholder communication Exposure to SAP SD or MM domains will be a plus SAP MDG certification is highly desirable
