Ford is modernizing in several areas of business by implementing SAP’s S4 HANA solution, which will improve productivity, reduce the size and complexity of Ford's technical footprint, emphasize differentiating capabilities, and to transform and standardize its business processes. This position in the SAP Enterprise Platform Organization at Ford Motor Company will be responsible for a global leadership of an Enhancement product team which handles development and support for Enhancements, Forms, Workflow and standard Fiori Reports.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field 12 to 15 years of overall IT experience and a minimum 5 years of relevant project/service delivery experience, specifically in managing SAP S4 HANA implementation projects. One major full SAP S4 HANA implementation experience, preferably in the Finance, Purchasing and Manufacturing modules preferred Hands on leadership experience in coordinating, planning, organizing, and executing the programs, projects, and day-to-day operational responsibilities in delivery of SAP ABAP services with good exposure to programming in ABAP 7.4 and above, RICEFW development, CDS Views, AMDP, DDIC and UI5/Fiori. Strong experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Iterative, Waterfall, etc.). Knowledge and experience with Agile and Lean process methodology is required. Experience in a people management role, leadership with and without reports/authority Strong acumen to understand the business needs and ability to manage services in a very dynamic environment. Good understanding of SAP ERP, functional and/or technical SAP application knowledge with strong technical and business acumen. Experience in managing diversified teams working across the globe with Onsite and Offshore model. Exposure to RAP, SAP Cloud and BTP integration platform is preferred. Certification on SAP S4 HANA will be a plus. Lead and manage a team of highly skilled developers, anchors, and product manager, catering various types of product services across multiple projects and programs. Manage deliverables, including but not limited to design, develop, test and support product services enhancing SAP system to meet requirements Participate in the preparation of proposals and statement of works, develop project estimates to plan demand vs capacity on a periodical basis to achieve the program objectives and ongoing support goals. Manage third party vendors/SI partners to ensure proper resourcing level and expertise to deliver on requirements and perform as outlined in the SOW and have a strong understanding of how it supports the business process and objectives. Drive all phases of technical implementation of the objects scoped within your portfolio from the planning to post go-live, ensuring the accomplishment of the desired scope, time, and quality. Focus on service quality, service availability, and operational capability in conjunction with relevant processes and performance management. Continuously improve performance and capability of the team Collaborate with other delivery managers across the program to plan scope, schedule, risk, stakeholder management, cross-team collaboration and synchronization of effort to drive program outcomes. Analyze risk, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigation plan. Escalate technical and program issues/risks appropriately. Support establishing a CoE for SAP ABAP programming and liaise with platform and solution architecture teams to ensure industry benchmark, best practices and standards are followed. Responsible for PI (Program Increment) planning, product roadmap, backlog management, retrospectives and iteration planning along with other Agile ceremonies. Track and manage reusability and fit-gap analysis to limit customization and meet program objectives enabling seamless migration and/or upgrade experience. Lead creation of production support documentation and maintenance of operational metrics. Coordinate with the leadership team and other IT resources to solve complex problems, develop innovative solutions, remove barriers and collaborate with functional product teams to iteratively delivery based on release plans. Support processes and initiatives to enhance data security, privacy, and integrity within the SAP environment, in collaboration with cybersecurity and compliance teams. Monitor portfolio performance, identify risks and issues, and influence schedule changes, scope adjustments, prioritization, resource loading timeline and plan. Support meeting financial targets of the portfolio and program with timely inputs and effective resource planning. Support hiring, attract and retain talents related activities and Ford India related workstreams as representative/SPOC for the department.
