OVERALL: This individual will be in EMIT, but there will need to be complimentary individuals in DAS to help work/manage many of these items.
Key Tasks
• Manage & be key individual responsible for helping managing the DHX landscape. (This does not include the work done by technical integration with transports, but they can complement each other. This role is PROCESS/DATA integration & the standard XOM organization is TECHNICAL integration
• Develop & Manage all data loading in the DHX boxes
o Data Refreshes
o Ad Hoc Table & Data copies from DHP to DHD & DHA
o Manage any NEW tables requested to be SLT into DHX or any other new tables from other systems.
o Track all the times when tables or data seems to disappear in one of the environments. Track RCA to see if it can be prevented.
o Data Reloads – keep track of data reloads in all environments to keep it where it can be used for testing and production
o Manage the IT MOC for reloads required after transports in DHP. Work with Business group on the DAS MOC.
• Dependencies
o Maintain documentation to help understand dependencies between Analytic Solutions
o First individual to answer questions from new projects or new functionality of what may
o Facilitate developing any key documentation or processes for understanding dependencies
• New Designs
o In some instances, different initiatives may have a business need, but may not have the best technical design.
This person can help facilitate working design and impacts to all areas if current initiatives need some help
This person would manage a regular scheduled design review for new items to be reviewed.
• Other System Integration
o First contact for any new or different systems that interface DHX – STRIPES, CRM, ADP etc.
Skill Set
o Hana Modeler required or significant Data Warehousing experience with knowledge to SAP data; however, in this position, not planning to be a modeler. Need good understanding of how it works. (If employee with right background, does not need to be a HANA modler.)
o Project Management type skills
o Root Cause Analytics Skills
o Good Communication Skills – verbal & Written
o Initiative.
This is a hybrid role where we want a technical leader who has Native HANA experience but role is more around a technical integrator. Key is person has Native HANA technical back ground.
