Job Description:

Job Summary:

The SAP QM Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Quality Management module to enhance business processes and ensure the effective management of quality across the organization. The consultant works closely with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Configuration:Configure SAP QM module to meet business requirements.Develop functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and conversions.Design and implement QM processes, including inspection plans, quality notifications, and certificates of analysis.Implementation and Support:Lead or participate in SAP QM module implementations and upgrades.Provide support for SAP QM-related issues, troubleshoot and resolve system problems.Ensure system integrity and data accuracy through regular system checks and audits.Business Process Optimization:Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.Work with stakeholders to streamline and enhance quality management processes.Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users.Project Management:Participate in project planning, including scoping, scheduling, and resource allocation.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and risk assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP QM module.Proven track record of successful SAP QM implementations.Experience in other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, SD) is a plus.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of SAP QM processes and configuration.Proficiency in ABAP programming for debugging and customizations.Understanding of integration points with other SAP modules.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP QM certification.Experience in the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA).
