As part of the **Security Awareness & Enablement** (SA&E) team, you’ll contribute to improving SAP’s security compliance by addressing human risk through awareness, enablement, and compliance initiatives. As an intern, you will play a key part in the **Risk Identification and Management workstream** , documenting risks and collaborating with key stakeholders to manage risks throughout their lifecycle. This internship offers a unique opportunity to support SAP’s strategic goals while building valuable skills and experience in security awareness, audit, compliance, and risk management. **Key Responsibilities** Compliance Monitoring & Risk Management • Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for the compliance workstream. • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize risks for the local Risk Register. • Engage with cross-functional teams to track audit findings and customer escalations. • Report on project health, identify potential risks, and help mitigate impediments to ensure deliverables stay on track. • Provide project management support for ad-hoc tasks and projects. Learning & Development Opportunities • Gain hands-on experience in risk identification, risk management, and industry frameworks like NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO, SOC 1, and SOC 2. • Develop a strong understanding of auditing processes. • Strengthen your project management skills, particularly within agile methodologies. • Build a professional network through collaboration with cross-functional global teams. • Benefit from mentorship to navigate challenging tasks and develop professionally. **What You Bring** We’re looking for an intern who is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives on learning. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
