Position: SAP Sales Manager
Essential Background Requirements
• Typically educated to university level (e.g. BSc. or MSc.). Otherwise, may hold a relevant professional qualification.
• Has experience working on client projects within a delivery function (SI, MO and/or Consulting), or
• Has been successful as Sales Representative 4, or
• Has experience working on client projects within a delivery function (SI, MO and/or Consulting), or
• Has a proven sales background from the external market with 3-5 years of experience.
Desirable Background Requirements
• Experience in international assignments/working internationally.
• Experience working in a delivery function (e.g. SI, MO and/or Consulting).
• Basic English language ability.
Mandatory Tasks
Support on opening new clients
• Supports opening new clients, typically by cold calling of potential clients usually regarding specific solutions or service offerings.
Determine sales and client approach
• Executes the tactical approach(es) likely to be most effective for either a specific solution and market segment or a specific client.
• Manages the sales activities to meet agreed targets and corporate objectives within agreed budgets.
Planning and resourcing for expected business
• Assists own management to plan and resource the business it expects to achieve with the customer organization. Monitors the level of business actually achieved.
Leads and opportunities (specific for solution focus)
• Contacts prospective customers, prospect for new sales leads and develops existing leads by encouraging recognition of customers’ business needs (exploring how these can be met by Atos Origin products and/or services).
Leads and opportunities (specific for account focus)
• Identifies and responds to opportunities for providing products and services to the client, liaising with those responsible in own organization. Recommends products and services that will help the customer organization to achieve its business objectives.
Relationship building (specific for account focus)
• Identifies key staff in the client organization and build relationship with them. Introduces colleagues to client, especially those involved in marketing, selling and delivery.
Customer contact (specific for solution focus)
• Maintains customer contact after making sales proposals to sustain interests, resolve concerns & negotiate, if necessary, on both commercial and technical issues to achieve sales agreement.
Customer satisfaction (specific for solution focus)
• Maintains contact with customer organizations to monitor satisfaction with individual sales and general level of service and to initiate any remedial actions required.
Customer satisfaction (specific for account focus)
• Monitors the level of customer satisfaction at regular intervals
• (typically through obtaining client feedback) or after each significant delivery of product/service. Responds to customer queries and complaints.
• Ensures that, when necessary, corrective action is taken by Atos Origin and by the customer organization.
Advise Customer
• Recommends changes in the customer organization’s use of the products/services supplied, to increase the benefits it obtains from them, and helps ensure customer retention.
