SAP Security Analyst
Summary

Reporting to the Analytics & SAP Infrastructure Manager, the purpose of the Security Analyst role is support the design, development and administration of business security systems for protecting the integrity, confidentiality and availability of Enerflex information resources.  Participate in security planning and provide input on the selection of methods used to ensure the protection of Enerflex systems and data.  This role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills and advanced knowledge of SAP best practices to guide the team on issues related to the design, development, security and deployment of SAP applications.

Responsibilities •Collaborate with functional analysts (and occasionally end-users) to help identify business pain points and propose ideal solutions. Assist in creating/ maintaining the Security Strategy guidelines. Participate in the design and development of role-based security for the production environment (which primarily includes SAP ECC, BW, FIORI, GRC, HANA, SAP Business Objects, AEX, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP BTP). Manage the GRC system functionality which includes Access Control and Process Control. Participate in cross functional project teams representing Application Security and Development throughout implementation including daily project configuration activities, unit testing, integration testing, Go-Live activities, and post implementation support. Troubleshoot security support issues including, role assignment problems, authorization failure, working with business process owners to identify required roles or changes to roles to meet access needs. Accountable for ensuring approval for access requests are compliant with business and governance rules. Maintain mechanisms for user access requests and provisioning access including approval from the Data Owners. Sustain efforts to listen to and understand the customer (both internal and external), anticipate customer needs, and give high priority to customer satisfaction. Collaborate with audit and compliance functions to monitor and report on security processes. Approach issues and projects with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, innovation, and quality. Qualifications University degree or technical diploma combined with a minimum 5 years of relevant post graduate work. Must have broad, practical knowledge of systems for complex enterprise environment functionality such as Active Directory, Microsoft Operating Systems and SAP. Have a strong belief in establishing, following, and continuously improving development process, standards, and best practices. Experience in SAP security design, SAP user provisioning, knowledge of segregation of duties concepts, sensitive access and experience in user access security including configuration of SAP would be an asset. Work effectively within a team or those outside formal line of authority to accomplish organizational goals, taking actions that respect the needs and contributions of others and contributing to and accepting consensus. Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of communicating development, technical and security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff. Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or the oil and gas field service industry would be an asset.   About Us:
