**Position Overview:** The Site Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the company's facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. This role involves managing a team of facilities staff, coordinating with external contractors, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Facility Management:**
2. Oversee the daily operations of the site facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong the life of equipment and facilities.
4. Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of all site areas, including offices, production areas, common spaces, and grounds.
5. **Team Leadership:**
6. Lead and manage the facilities team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
7. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards.
8. **Budget Management:**
9. Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenditures.
10. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements without compromising service quality.
11. **Vendor Coordination:**
12. Manage external service providers, including cleaning, security, landscaping, and maintenance contractors.
13. Ensure vendors meet agreed-upon service levels and compliance standards.
14. **Health and Safety:**
15. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
16. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
17. Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
18. **Project Management:**
19. Plan and oversee facility-related projects, including renovations, refurbishments, and new installations.
20. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
21. **Sustainability Initiatives:**
22. Promote and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of the facilities.
23. Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for improvement.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related role.
+ Proven leadership and team management skills.
+ Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
+ Excellent organizational and project management skills.
+ Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
+ Proficiency in using facilities management software, MS Suite software.
+ Working knowledge of BMS systems.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Certification in Facilities Management a plus (e.g., IFMA, BIFM).
+ Experience in managing facilities within the Software/High-tech sector.
+ Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management.

**Compensation Range Transparency** : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 87800 - 191800 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
