General Description
OpenText is looking for a SAP Solution Product Consultant to help realize and drive OpenText’s growing Enterprise Information Management (EIM) professional services business. In this role the candidate will assist organizations in maximizing their investment in OpenText solutions. The candidate will be liaising with customers to gain a real understanding of their business needs and drivers. Excellent communications skills to help build effective relationships with customers and partners alike are essential.
The candidate must be a professional who has an interest in how business processes work and interact with technology to deliver world-class Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions that enable clients to become highly effective businesses.
The candidate provides technical consultation for Open Text SAP solution product like “Vendor Invoice Management for SAP”, “Core Archive for SAP Solutions”.
Primary DutiesThe candidate provides technical consultations and implementations for Open Text products described above under support of Open Text Project Manager.

Technical requirement developments System installations/configurations ABAP programming Documentations related to activities described aboveWork schedule development for the candidate’s own tasksTechnical Trouble shootingsSkills and Knowledge(Required) Basic knowledge of SAP and more than 5 years of experience in SAP project.(Required) Experience in SAP ABAP development and solving problems through debugging tools.(Required) Experience in documenting materials in Japanese, which is intended to explain to customer upon their inquiries or requests.(Nice to have) Experience in SAP Basis installation.(Nice to have) Experience in SAP integration with peripheral systems.(Nice to have) Experience in SAP FI or MM modules implementations or run-operations.(Nice to have) “DIY” mindset to check the technical information sources in Open Text internal library for newly published products and to perform testing on the actual devices for fitting them into actual projects.(Nice to have) Willingness mindset to travel is essential to customer sites.
