The role
As a SAP Support Analyst (Plant Maintenance), you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working closely with our customers to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality, the SAP Support analyst adds value to the SAP organisation through their knowledge of the Plant Maintenance module/areas and knowledge of its integration with other modules (Logistics/Finance/HR/Procurement).  

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for the functional support, analysis and continuous improvement of the SAP Plant Maintenance and Fleet Operation Systems, module/areas to meet the business needs of Babcock cross divisional back-office processes. 

Provides functional and configuration support (where applicable) for the SAP solutions in the SAP Plant Maintenance, Fleet Operations, Field Service and Service Cloud module/solutions Manage and create incident/work order reports or change program plans as required Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for all Plant Maintenance and Fleet Operations related processes Support business implementations, patching and upgrades by sharing best practice support, testing and configuration skills Ensure Service/Incident Management system, knowledge base and supporting documentation is updated and accurate

 

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements, occasional travel may be required.

 

Essential experience of the SAP Support Analyst (Plant Maintenance):

Substantial hands-on SAP Plant Maintenance (MRO, Logistics, Inventory, and Quality Management) support and configuration experience. Experience of Fleet Operations (Flexible and Production Planning or relevant solutions) support and configuration. Good understanding of business processes within SAP Plant Maintenance and Fleet Operations and related user interfaces required to deliver the solution. Integration knowledge with Logistics, Project Systems, Timesheets, HR, Procurement and Supply Chain.

 

Qualifications for the SAP Support Analyst (Plant Maintenance):

A university degree or relevant experience in Plant Maintenance or Information Management.
