Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an SAP Technical Consultant. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our team, taking on responsibilities such as processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. This position will also involve monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate action when necessary. Responsibilities: • Act as a liaison between leadership and the technical team • Accurately process customer credit applications • Maintain precise customer credit records • Understand and translate functional requirements from functional specs into technical specs • Implement coding as per the technical specs • Demonstrate a strong understanding of SAP t-codes and authorization objects • Participate in the creation, release, and tracking of the SAP Transport Management process • Utilize strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills • Show a solid understanding of ABAP • Gather requirements, design, develop, test, and implement tasks as required • Exhibit advanced experience in SAP ECC-FI/CO and strong finance and accounting skills • Effectively communicate and work with multiple levels • Show proficiency in Microsoft Office. Requirements Required Skills & Experience: + BS/BA in Finance or Accounting, or industry experience equivalent. + Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience. + Advanced experience with SAP ECC-FI/CO and proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Experience with general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset management, cash, bank and treasury management, and inventory management. + Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to work with multiple levels. Preferred Skills: + Experience with finance operations and reporting tools like Business Intelligence and Business Objects. + Background in design, creation, and troubleshooting reports to meet business needs. + Experience in providing training to end-users. + Familiarity with Ariba BuyNow and Intercompany Billing procedures.
