As the SAP Technical Solution Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in the development of new solutions to support business need and continuous improvement of our SAP environments. You'll oversee both SAP and non-SAP environments and define technical BAU (Business as Usual) processes. Additionally, you'll foster strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maintain optimal system performance and adherence to established operational standards.

Your responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Partnership

Engage with both JM Internal Staff and outsourced teams to define technical solutions that can be transitioned into BAU technical services that meet agreed SLA’sWorking in partnership with the technical services partner to coordinate delivery of solutionsWork with Architecture, Continuous Improvement and Deployment Teams to provide solutions in line with Business, Technical and Environment requirementsMonitor business engagement levels in team and technical remit to take action in ensuring standards are maintainedWork with other teams within JMIT to ensure technical compliance in line with JM policies and frameworksContribute to the development of the SAP Technical roadmap and platform strategy

Operational Excellence & Technical Management

Design technical solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements, are cost-effective to run, and are operationally efficient to support.Act as the primary source for management of technical risks and issues and drive forward proposed solutions to mitigate risk in line with the governance framework, ensuring adherence to change management processes.Ensure designed solutions operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment.Support the technical deployment of Projects and transition into BAU services.Technical Management of 3rd party resources as part of programme and project delivery.Lead technical overviews and solution confirmation workshops from an SAP technical standpoint.  Partner closely with wider JMIT teams on systems, capacity management and system performance across the SAP and non-SAP landscape.Collectively support and sponsor technical improvement Change requests.Ensure quality of SAP Technical documentation to support programmes, projects, continuous improvements and BAU services.Monitoring and reviewing compliance with internal controls across all JM SAP systems, and where necessary co-ordinating and managing any necessary corrective actions.Provide support and assistance to the SAP Technical & Environments LeadBe a point of technical escalation covering hosting, Basis and environment management across our multi-SAP landscape and connected systems.

Innovation & Knowledge Sharing

Review, Define and Implement process and system improvements to provide efficiencies and better ways of working across the SAP Technical function.Ensure that company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are always adhered to.To keep abreast of SAP Technical solutions and strategic positioning of products.
 Requirements for the role:Technical administration experience covering SAP ECC, SAP S/4, EWM, MDG and BW running on HANA, Oracle and Microsoft. Experience in HA and DR setup for HANA, Oracle and Microsoft databases.Strong knowledge of connected SAP systems across PO, GRC, IDM, BPA, DS/IS, SAC and BTP.In-depth knowledge and understanding of integrated technical components covering Basis, ABAP, integration, security, infrastructure, Solution Manager, hyperscalers cloud hosting, SAP RISE and Fiori.Highly experienced in SAP and non-SAP Environments Management.Previous experience of managing BAU Support teams.Significant experience working in a lead/management technical role supporting SAP and non-SAP systems.

How you will be rewarded:

The annual salary offered for this position: from €58,500-69,500 Annually. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
