Key responsibilities and authority

We are seeking a skilled tester with SAP experience to join our Delivery Team. As a key contributor you will support and execute quality assurance tasks alongside the development team to provide and maintain high-quality SAP deliverables that meet our business needs and elevate user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, create test assets and support both functional and user/business acceptance testing. Your expertise will help maintain our competitive edge in the market.

Ensure the quality of SAP functional and user acceptance testing (UAT)Responsible for SAP functional and UAT scope, preparation and its successful executionEnsure the various stages of testing are understood, accepted and approved by key stakeholders.Create UAT test plans, scripts, relevant test data and reporting documentation and ensure required regulatory compliance.Ensure all testing resources are aligned and available.Responsible for keeping a repository of all system & project test scripts and pre and post UAT sign off.Identify areas for enhancement of system automation testing.Co-ordination of any required defect triage meetings arising from User Acceptance Testing.Collaborate closely with other members of the cross functional team to define system requirements and design solutions.Work closely with development teams to ensure the highest quality.Assist in the estimation of tasks, identify potential roadblocks, and propose solutions.

Key requirements

Outline the essential competencies and characteristics that candidates must demonstrate to contribute to our diverse, inclusive culture and succeed in the role. These may include:

Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and patterns.Familiarity with SAP modules e.g., Finance (FI), Order to Cash (OTC) or Supply Chain (SCM).Familiarity with Panaya Test Management tool or similarExperience of creating test assets (Test Scripts, Test Plans, Test Reports).Experience of coordinating test effort from Business users.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Professional, flexible, and able to succeed in a rapidly changing environment.Strong organisational, time management skills.Able to own issues and present solutions.
