Selected candidates will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and work in support environment by solving daily tickets and working on Change requests using SAP WM. The role will require substantial interaction with customers and key stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

The consultant will provide functional and business process expertise on a project team which generally consists of consultants, subcontractors, remote global resources, and client employees. Conducting the analysis to solve the problems, testing, and providing solutions in support of work products and client deliverables as and when required. To provide “Best Practice” Consultancy from a business process and SAP perspective.

 

Skills:

Strong communications skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels. SAP Experience of 4+ years SAP WM implementation or Support experience of min 3 years Significant SAP configuration experience in SAP WM Good Understanding of SAP logistics and warehouse management functionality. Experience in working on scenarios related to Lean WM, Standard WM, and Decentralized WM systems. Good knowledge and experience in working on scenarios related with IDOCs. Basic knowledge of SAP Console, RF terminal technology Good understanding and working experience with Handling Unit Management and Hazardous Material management. Experience on working with cross module scenarios for modules like Materials management, sales and distribution and production planning. Good Knowledge of different delivery processes in a warehouse management like goods receipt, Stock transfers and good issue processes using inbound and outbound deliveries. Ability to understand the customer business processes from the customer and skill to communicate with him to understand more. Making effective communication with the customer during Project period. Be an active, self-motivated and a co-operative team player in the Project team.

 

Preferable Additional Skills:

SAP – WMS certified End to end SAP-WMS implementation experience. Experience in supporting Radio Frequency (RF) solutions in either a retail, manufacturing or logistics environment. Basic understanding about Extended Warehouse management.
