**Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Saw Operator in Ashland, VA!** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator with experience in saw operation to join our team. The role involves cutting down materials for customer orders using HYDMECH and COSEN saws, handling inventory, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes in a steel distribution warehouse. **Responsibilities** + Cut down materials such as square tubing, 8" hot roll round, and aluminum for customer orders using HYDMECH and COSEN saws. + Operate inbound/outbound sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes to move steel within an indoor/outdoor warehouse. + Load steel onto flatbed and LTL trucks. + Manage inventory using a paper-based system. + Learn and identify different types of steel and gauges. **Essential Skills** + Experience with saw operation, including HYDMECH and COSEN brands. + Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes. + Knowledge of inventory management and material handling. + Ability to use a tape measure and understand building materials. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with order picking, shipping and receiving, and loading/unloading. + General labor skills, including deburring and warehouse operations. **Why Work Here?** We are committed to improving the quality of our team and building a strong, supportive culture.
