Job Title: Saw Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. The position offers competitive hourly pay of $20-23 and operates on a 1st shift schedule: 6 AM - 3:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, and 6 AM - 12 PM on Fridays, with the possibility of full days or Saturdays if needed.

ResponsibilitiesOperate saws to cut metal pieces to specified lengths based on blueprints.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.Use an iPad to access blueprints and specifications for metal cutting tasks.Ensure precision in cutting by paying close attention to detail.Perform data entry and maintain paper documentation for tracking purposes.Set up and operate machines in a machine shop environment.Essential SkillsExperience with tape measures.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.Previous experience with saw operation and machine setup.Expereince in fabrication or construction.Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in finish carpentry is a plus.Knowledge of welding and working with metals.Ability to learn and develop welding skills over time.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
