**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with general fabrication skills and at least 1 year of laser cutting experience to join our team. You will be responsible for operating the plasma cutting machine, primarily uploading code and initiating the machine's operation. This position requires training on the first shift for at least one week before transitioning to a designated shift. **Responsibilities** + Operate the plasma cutting machine by uploading code and initiating the machine's operation. + Work on an industrial bandsaw table, running metals through machinery for cutting purposes. + Handle heavy industrial products, consistently lifting 50+ lbs. + Be open to moving and running other shop machinery as needed, including the plasma table and CNC laser. + Ensure safety and efficiency while operating various shop machinery. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of laser cutting experience. + General fabrication skills. + Experience with plasma cutting. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently. + Experience operating bandsaws and CNC lasers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding knowledge. + Machining experience. + Machine operation proficiency. + Saw operator experience. **Why Work Here?** Room for growth! The role involves uploading metal materials into machines and running them, without the need for a hood or gloves as there is no welding or physical fabricating involved. The first shift is from 6AM to 3:30PM, and the second shift is from 4PM to 12:30AM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLATHE, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
