SBA Credit Delivery Leader

Manages the workflow of customer credit requests submitted to the SBA Portfolio Management underwriting team, being an advocate for the markets served, and acting as a liaison for specific and global credit issues in a fast paced environment.Reviews and structures loan requests, acts as mentor/coach to underwriters.Approves loan requests directly or may concur on underwriter decisions.Participates in SBA Sales calls, manages daily underwriter reporting (compliance, production and volume).Acts as backup to SBA Group Manager for credit policy issues and would typically review larger, more complex loan requests. Typically would have a $3.0 million or greater in loan authority.May manage projects or processes to improve overall accuracy or efficiency in the Business Loan Center

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 5 years of experience underwriting business/commercial credits in a banking environmentAt least 1 year of management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or BusinessExperience with SBA or other government guaranteed loan programs.Excellent analytical skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and logically document loan decisionsPC and Internet proficiency (Word, Excel, Moody's Financial Analyzer)
