SBU Plant Facilities Engineer
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining stable and capable production/business processes as they pertain to equipment, facilities and tooling functionality following the SPW (Stellantis Production Way) model. The Facilities Engineer is required to maintain machine/system capability and reliability as they relate to safety, throughput, quality, equipment integrity, and for monitoring/correcting related issues affecting facilities equipment and systems.   Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Plan, test and supervise the implementation of preventive actions in facility operations in order to establish and verify capable, stable and reliable facility processes in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost Evaluate and approve changes in production processes in cooperation with product engineering and systems support where applicable Maintain and evaluate facilities equipment and systems documentation through stratification and Pareto analysis Manage corrective action processes derived from process audits, or customer complaints; coordinate facility projects and services Work closely with suppliers, Business Unit Leaders, Engineering Group Leaders, Maintenance Employees, Planners, Logistics, etc. in order to define corrective actions and investigate for continuous improvement efforts, utilizing Kaizens and other quality improvement aids Establish, maintain, and administer control plans, PFMEAs and process sheets Responsible for leading Kaizen projects, and delivery of other Key Activity Indicators per the SPW model Participate in all aspects of simultaneous engineering efforts for new projects Prepare and present regular reports to both internal and external stakeholders. Provide customer feedback on part/service related issues Oversee and specify plant facilities, tooling and machinery placement and structural requirements and layout Coordinate debug, startup and qualification of non-production machines. Oversee machine retools and rebuilds, Machine and process troubleshooting, tool development, tool life, and gage process Detail and facilitate plant facilities, tooling and equipment, drawings and layout Develop and submit facility tool, equipment, and service purchase requisition and NPM coding activities according to FCA Purchasing guidelines Perform/coordinate Emergency Response activities for facility related breakdowns Candidate will be required to work closely with outside engineering consultants, construction, and installation companies on projects as required Need to keep plant drawings updates as projects are completed to keep CAD files current

Basic Qualifications: Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Have minimum THREE (3) years' experience in general building construction, engineering, and maintenance Areas of work include, but are not limited to; roofing, building structure, foundations, floors, concrete and asphalt paving and repairs, underground services, potable water systems, and freight elevators Possess strong problem solving skills (SPC, DOE, Kaizen, and root cause analysis) English language competency required with good written and verbal communication skills Must be proficient in MS-Office, MicroStation, AutoCAD Legally eligible to work in Canada
