Emerson is currently seeking a skilled Project Manager in Marshalltown, IA. Th individual selected for this role will be part of a fast-paced New Product Development team and will apply traditional and agile project management principles to oversee the execution of Valve Business Unit projects. The core responsibility of this role is to create and maintain detailed project plans, regularly communicate with Business Unit partners, and monitor project progress towards meeting key milestones, while upholding Emerson business initiatives and pushing continuous improvement.
In this Role Your Responsibilities will Be:
Manage and update project management tools Organize and lead project management and scheduling meetings Update stakeholders on project milestone status and risks Document and update NPD deliverable checklists Track prototype part procurement Communicate and coordinate with centralized resources (test and evaluation, global supply chain, materials, research and development, simulation, etc.) Support short- and long-term capacity planning Percentage of travel - <10%Who you Are
You maintain a track record of exceeding goals successfully. You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations and are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.
