Job Summary This position is remote/hybrid in Winston Salem, with consideration to candidates in the Charlotte and Wilmington areas as well. The Supply Chain Financial Analyst candidate will have a focus for analyzing and reporting on sourcing event opportunities and data driven results within the Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing process. Applicants with previous Supply Chain or Healthcare experience are preferred. Conducting financial analysis for materials and sourcing initiatives include: gathering data and making sure data is accurate when reporting, gathering historical spend data and developing cost of ownership model. The data integrity function of this role includes, but not limited to, bill only purchase orders, contract pricing in requisition catalog, non-catalog usage and purchase order review. Compiling large amounts of data and reporting that data in an understandable, meaningful format to supply chain team members is a key requirement of this position. This position will also require the ability to independently derive insights on supply spend and utilization with analysis of both purchasing and clinical data. Proficiency in Excel tools including using pivot tables, formulas and other advanced tools is second nature. Ability to clean data by finding and filtering bad data entries and reformatting fields as needed. Candidate will be required to build meaningful, easy to read charts based on the data shown and can build and own processes for renewing databases, analyses and scorecards. The financial analyst role will support one to two sourcing manager portfolios. Other smaller initiatives and projects will be assigned to the financial analyst role as needed. Qualifications Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or mathematics. Experience: Minimum two years of experience in Financial Analytics, Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Category management, and vendor performance management experience preferred. Healthcare experience a plus. Additional Skills (required): Demonstrated ability to successfully analyze large amounts of data and process management of that data. Excellent written, verbal and communication skills. Strong analytical and computer skills (Microsoft applications) essential Additional Skills (preferred): Experience with Infor Lawson, Ariba, EPIC, Kaufman Hall Axiom, Strata and other healthcare financial software.
