Job Title: SCADA/Instrumentation Technician

Requirements: 5+ Years Experience in the design, maintenance, and repair of SCADA Systems  
 

Local Water Authority seeks an experienced SCADA Technician to oversee the management, maintenance, and repair of our SCADA system. This is a full-time, permanent role within our Engineering/Technical Services group, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
 

Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency in the design, maintenance, and repair of remote-controlled SCADA system hardware and software.Familiarity with the integration and implementation of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).Understanding of municipal drinking water systems operations.Additional experience and qualifications may be considered for senior appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement SCADA hardware and software, including HMI platforms.Integrate and support related equipment, such as PLCs.Monitor and analyze SCADA logs and historian data.Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and repair for system components.Offer after-hours and on-call technical support for maintenance and repair.Develop and execute emergency response and recovery plans.Interpret schematics, design drawings, and related support documentation.Adhere to agency employment policies and safety procedures.Collaborate effectively within teams.Demonstrate exceptional customer service and professionalism in public interactions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Six or more years of relevant experience in SCADA systems design, maintenance, and repair.Knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards governing public drinking water systems.Valid Oregon Driver's License and a clean driving record.
