SCADA Network Engineer
Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SCADA Network Engineer to join our team in Middleburg, FL. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SCADA systems and network infrastructure, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain reliable and secure network solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our critical infrastructure. Responsibilities: + Design, implement, and maintain SCADA network architectures, including hardware and software components. + Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and PLCs within a SCADA environment. + Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues promptly. + Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats. + Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA systems with other enterprise systems. + Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups. + Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SCADA network issues. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to SCADA network security. + Conduct network performance analysis and optimization. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SCADA network engineering. + Strong understanding of SCADA systems, protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850), and network architectures. + Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, PLCs) and network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet). + Knowledge of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. + Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools. + Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, ISA/IEC 62443) are a plus.
