The Opportunity:
Kent PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with exceptional technical expertise and the ability to excel in challenging environments.
Reporting to the Construction Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating Subcontractors and/or Direct Hire Scaffolding teams. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of scaffolding activities across Greenfields and Brownfields construction areas. Working on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project, you will play a key role in supporting Structural, Mechanical, Piping (SMP) and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) installation crews.
Your responsibilities will include:Plan and execute scaffolding activities in coordination with SMP and E&I teams to meet project schedules.Supervise and coordinate the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.Manage the Scaffold Register and Scaffold Request Process, ensuring efficient resource use.Oversee subcontractors and direct hire teams, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.Enforce HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks, and support incident investigations.Ensure scaffolding materials are accounted for, stored correctly, and used efficiently.Provide training, mentoring, and upskilling opportunities to enhance team capabilities.Maintain daily reports, timesheets, and attendance records for accurate project tracking.Communicate progress updates, risks, and coordination needs with project stakeholders. About You:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Scaffolding Supervisor with an Advanced Scaffolding Licence, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and a White Card.
You will have experience on EPC/EPCM projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or heavy industry, you excel in scaffold design, installation, inspection, and dismantling using Tube & Clip, AT-Pac, Ringlock, and KwikStage. Experience in Live Hydrocarbon Plants is a plus.
You have strong planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills, ensuring HSE compliance and team performance. Proficient in Microsoft Office, you can interpret engineering drawings and technical documents effectively.
