SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a highly competent and safety-conscious Scaffolding Supervisor to join a leading LNG Plant Construction Project in Oman. This position is exclusively open to Omani nationals as part of our commitment to supporting local talent. The successful candidate will supervise scaffolding operations, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.



QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in construction or scaffolding management is preferred. Valid Scaffolding Supervisor certification (CITB or equivalent). HSE certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, NEBOSH) are highly desirable. Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding operations within large industrial or oil & gas projects. Previous experience on LNG or heavy industrial construction projects is an advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Oversee and supervise scaffolding activities on-site, ensuring efficient and safe execution of tasks. Ensure all scaffolding works comply with safety standards, HSE regulations, and industry norms (e.g., BS EN 12811). Coordinate with the project team to plan and schedule scaffolding operations based on project needs. Conduct daily inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure stability and safety. Monitor and manage scaffolders, providing guidance and training on proper scaffolding techniques and safety protocols. Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and workforce for scaffolding tasks. Maintain accurate records of scaffolding activities, including permits, inspections, and handovers. Implement corrective actions following any incidents and ensure that issues are resolved to prevent future occurrences.
