Summary: Accurately weigh all trucks to maintain internal control of all raw product, waste, scrap, etc, being shipped in and out of the factory.

 

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Promotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulationsCommunicates and interacts with Field Department personnel, growers, and truck driversWeights all incoming raw product, records load weights either by stamping or writing down the weight, and also weights outgoing vehicle for tare weightComputes total volume of raw product delivered by grower and keeps field department recordsEnter departmental information in to the computerKnowledge and ability to operate Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PC&RKeeps records according to departmental proceduresSorts and files records or formsAnswers phone, transfers calls, conveys messagesCommunicates any problems or changes in production or quality to supervisor and appropriate personnelAttends and participates in job specific trainingUnderstands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operationKeeps area clean in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Helps build and promote a strong teamwork environment in each individual work group, the factor, and the companyParticipates in continuous improvement processOther duties as assigned

 

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)

Basic computer skills requiredISN and PC&R knowledge a definite assetAbility to work with minimal supervisionHigh school graduate and can perform basic mathematical calculationsMust have strong communication skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, and be able to maintain good working relationships with Supervision and coworkers as well as ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to multi-task and prioritize efficiently using effective time management and organization skillsAbility to problem solve and utilize resources to ensure items are communicated effectively

Hourly Wage:

Start wage: $26.73After 6 months: $27.99
