**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Operate scaling equipment to remove loose rock and debris from mine walls and ceilings.
+ Conduct regular inspections of mine areas to identify and address potential hazards.
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on scaling equipment.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
+ Support the mining team with various tasks as needed.
+ Work in an underground environment with heights of 27 feet and a temperature between 50-60 degrees.
**What Are We Looking For**
+ Ability to operate and maintain scaling equipment in tight spaces.
+ Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ Physical capability to handle the demands of the job including standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 75 pounds as when as other physical demands.
+ Flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
**Conditions of Employment**
+ Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
+ Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
**Work Environment**
+ Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
