Short Description

Promptly and professionally answers telephone callsProvides a complete explanation of testing instructions and preparationsSchedules services, ensuring all aspects of appointments are appropriate and accurate, including patient demographics and appointment details.Obtains and records patient insurance, prescription, referral and other financial clinical documentsVerifies insurance eligibility and ensures that insurance requirements are met prior to delivery of service.
Experience Required

Five years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging SchedulingPrevious data entry/typing experience, knowledge of basic office equipment, computer experienceMust be proficient in Word/Excel and EMR, have good organizational skills and have experience with multi-line telephone system
Education Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent
