As a Veteran Planning & Scheduling Analyst, you will provide leadership to technical, financial, and management staff, ensuring the successful planning, baselining, statusing, and control of contract activities and deliverables. You will be the go-to expert, responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and guiding the development of innovative solutions to complex programmatic scheduling challenges. This role offers the opportunity to make impactful internal and external presentations and represent the organization as the primary schedule contact. Additionally, you will provide direction to support staff and mentor less experienced professionals, with potential program leadership responsibilities. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain logically linked horizontally and vertically integrated network Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) implementing critical path methodology (CPM).Perform schedule health assessments and utilize results to communicate and mitigate program risk.Maintain and validate rigorous cost-schedule integration and implementation of Earned Value Guidelines.Coordinate with the program team to assign resources to activities, establish a baseline, update remaining work (Estimate To Complete), and perform annual comprehensive ETC.Utilize the company standard structure for cost tool import and analysis and WBS alignment with charge structure.Ensure the networked IMS includes all internal and external dependencies and deliverables.Independently prepare for and present at Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and other forums.Contribute to the growth, knowledge sharing, training, and development of the department.Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other integrated program management techniques to measure progress and identify performance variances.Collaborate with CAMs and major subcontractors to incorporate giver/receiver activity interfaces into the prime integrated master schedule.Provide schedule analysis across multiple high-priority programs and support head management with written analysis of Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) IMS CDRL narratives.Lead, guide, and train others on scheduling best practices and process improvement as a subject matter expert (SME).Conduct schedule peer reviews to ensure compliance with contract requirements, company procedures, and industry best practices.Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.Essential SkillsProficient in Microsoft Project, Project Server, or other related program scheduling tools.8 years of experience utilizing earned value methodology, performing 14 point analysis, and Schedule Risk Assessments.Experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs).Understanding of scheduling, planning, and statusing procedures, and manufacturing systems in a development and production environment.Complete understanding of concepts and practices involved in analyzing multiple contract types: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive (FPI), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF).Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).Effective communicator with the ability to represent the company on programmatic matters.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.Additional Skills & QualificationsEducation or formal training equivalent to the completion of a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline.Eight or more years of related experience.Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.Work Environment
