Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation. Responsibilities Accurately schedules and pre-registers all patients for the region into six different computer programs for procedures and exams. Handles administration of technical prep direction and ensures accurate placement of patients on the various schedules at all facilities to enable timely delivery of service to the patient. Handles telephone calls in an efficient manner to meet corporate guidelines for waits and delays as well as meets abandonment ratio criteria. Handles customer account transactions, provides customer assistance including dealing with physician concerns, and ensures insurance data is collected accurately to alleviate authorization issues. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Medical Terminology Preferred Job Requirements: Scheduling Knowledge is helpful. Registration and Insurance Knowledge One (1) year related experience
