**Your Opportunity**
Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Planner/Scheduler to join our Program & Construction Management team with a background in scheduling of large infrastructure programs, working under the guidance of a Senior Scheduler, Program Manager and Project Controls Manager. This position requires a hybrid work model with a minimum of 3-4 days in-office per week or on-site presence at client locations for multi-year major infrastructure projects.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Liaise with project management team, senior scheduler and client to establish list of approved schedule reports.
+ Facilitates discussions with project stakeholders to identify key elements in schedule set-up, development, and integration.
+ Liaises with Project Controls Specialist to ensure alignment of schedule with control budget.
+ Prepares and establishes baseline schedule in conjunction with team members as well as other stakeholders.
+ Reviews construction schedules received from General Contractor / Construction Manager for accuracy and areas of improvement / efficiency.
+ Reviews, assesses, and analyzes contractor progress and performance as required.
+ In conjunction with cost and project management team, establish progress and calculate earned value.
+ Assumes responsibility for preparation, quality, accuracy, and timeliness of schedule reports.
+ Suggests methods to improve project plan and mitigate schedule slippage. Identifies trends, areas of concerns and makes recommendations for corrective actions.
+ Coordination and review of input from program team (internal and external stakeholders).
+ Clearly communicates to all stakeholder’s status of project schedule.
+ Supports risk analysis with project management.
+ Performs other key responsibilities of a similar nature and level as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work on several projects or tasks, manage time, remain organize, and set priorities.
+ Business awareness and acumen, maintaining knowledge of project deliverables, time, and resource availability.
+ Expert skill level in Oracle Primavera and relevant software programs including Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
+ Possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
**Education and Experience**
+ Technical degree/diploma/certificate in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project scheduling.
+ Construction experience is a must.

**Salary Range(s):**
* Lower Mainland $76,500 - Lower Mainland $110,900 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby)
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
