This opportunity is with an established General Contractor that specializes in converting existing Buildings and Structures into complex buildings / industrial complexes and is looking to expand its foothold even further into the Critical Facilities Market. Our client is taking their expertise and focus and applying it towards brownfield data center projects - which is the process for converting an existing building to a data center for the Hyperscale, Colo or Enterprise Marketplace. This company will provide a complete life cycle of solutions that will be custom-fit to the requirements of their client's mission-critical facility. We are looking for an experienced Construction Scheduler with the ability to interact with workers at all levels and a high level of professionalism, resourcefulness, flexibility and efficiency. They will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities for the construction project.

Responsibilities:Provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities and the supervision of scheduling teamEnsure that corporate planning and schedule plans are implemented and that all project related activities complyCoach, mentor, and train field personnel, forepersons, and assistant superintendentsEnsure crews have resources and support and provide work direction and performance evaluationsIdentify hiring needs and participate in hiring, discipline, and dismissal decisions if neededImplement the companies Zero Injury Safety Program at project siteMaintain relationships with all visitors to the site: internal and external stakeholders, customers, architects, subcontractors, etcManage site work and logistics efficiently and provide suggestions for improvementQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent fieldMinimum five years construction scheduling or equivalent experienceOracle Primavera P6 - Project Management and Control experience a plusMS Project or any other project planning / scheduling SW a plusCritical Facilities / Data Center Experience preferredStrong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsPossess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesEffectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsAbility to communicate concisely and professionally, both in writing and verballyExcellent inter-personal, organizational and communication skillsPrevious experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus! Experience with Electrical / Mechanical: Navy nukes - EMN, ETN, MMNs, Seabees, Army - Power Generation, Air Force – Power Production, Generator Techs, Maritime, Coast Guard, Army National Guard, etc.
