Scheduler II
As a Scheduler II, you will develop basic schedules, material requirements lists and production plans, monitor production activity to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials, and troubleshoot potential scheduling problems. You'll also maintain records on production and material deficiencies and prepare work orders for production or purchase requests based on production schedules. You'll provide detailed reporting including variance analysis utilizing Gantt charts, Earned Value Management data, percent complete, and other reports and graphs. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. **Responsibilities:** + Advance Planning and Scheduling (ORTEMs) + Analyze Production Schedules and Constraints + Review Data Integrity + Drive Positive Results + Monitor Negative Results + Report Trends within Specific Indicators/Drivers + Lead/Create Continuous Improvement Plans/Ideas + Assist with Managing Work Instructions **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Bachelor's Degree a related field and typically 2+ years of relevant experience + Higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience + Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education + Understanding of basic manufacturing/production scheduling techniques + Experience with scheduling software + Thorough understanding of forecasting, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurement, scheduling and planning + Progressive experience with Material Management Systems and/or Manufacturing Systems + Understanding of Program Management, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management processes + Advanced Analytical skills **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Previous operational flight management experience + Knowledge of both FAA and U.S. Military operational flight governing directives + Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military Estimated Starting Salary Range: $64,853.15 - $89,173.08. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
