Job Description
Marathon Petroleum Company LP (MPC) is hiring a Scheduling Analyst in San Antonio, Texas. The Scheduling Analyst is responsible for optimal truck scheduling of gasoline and distillate products out of origin terminals and delivering to destination stations. The successful candidate will be assigned to the Mexico scheduling group and experience one of many diverse scheduling roles including: Cross Border Operations and In-Country Operations. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn other areas of Mexico Trucking Operations, modes of distribution used to execute the scheduling plan including ship, pipeline, rail, and truck. The candidate will have direct interaction with a wide array of organizations within Marathon Petroleum Company such as Rail Operations, Distribution Services, Marketing, Optimization, and Trading. The candidate will conduct business with terminals and other 3rd party carriers and partners. The applicant must be organized, self-motivated, have leadership skills, team oriented, and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.

Minimum Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Must be able to correspond written and verbally in Spanish and English.
+ This position works a Monday through Friday Schedule and must be available to work an 8-hour shift. Additionally, planned and unplanned days which include weekends and holidays may be required.
Preferred Qualification
+ Undergraduate Degree in Logistics, Business or Analytics preferred.
Job Responsibilities
+ Nominate and schedule truck movements to support Mexico customers.
+ Should be able to forecast inventory deliveries to stations and plan days ahead.
+ Monitors station inventories as well as trucking schedules daily to ensure deliveries meet customer’s needs.
+ Manages proprietary fleets and 3rd party carriers and reconciles all trucking activity from origin to destination.
+ Reviews status reports to communicate supply concerns to stakeholders.
+ Executes scheduling strategies that optimize changes in supply due to operating constraints, unplanned events, and changes in market fundamentals. Works with internal and external partners to accommodate such changes.
+ Facilitates and helps execute plans with Terminals, Light Product Scheduling, Marine, Pipelines and Marketing on any issues that would impact a customer in a particular market.
+ Point of contact to other departments for transportation clarification or issues.
+ Willing to rotate on call functions not limited to emergencies, guidance, and instruction.
