Assists student organizations and departments with scheduling events around campus. Meet with departments and student organizations trying to schedule events in Webb Center. Use EMS Scheduling software to book events. Promote a positive image of the University and SET . Type of Recruitment Knowledge, skills and abilities Working knowledge of office practices, procedures and office equipment. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task including handling multiple phone calls and walk – up traffic. Basic skills in computer software (e.g. Microsoft Office). Special licenses, registration or certification N/A Education or training N/A Level and type of experience Some customer service experience. Some clerical experience. Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification) N/A Conditions of Employment Hourly (wage) employees are restricted to working 29 hours per week on average or 1500 hours in total in the May 1 – April 30 period. This position does not have health insurance, retirement or leave. Given the nature of the positions in Student Engagement & Enrollment Services that provide support to student services and/or student-centered programs, the employee occupying this position may be required to work during a university closing as directed by his or her supervisor. These instances may include working from a remote location (i.e. telework, etc.).
