This position will support the production and shipping departments. Primary goal is to manage an efficient production schedule where change overs are minimized on a monthly basis and like items are produced in the most efficient method possible.

Handle administrative/clerical duties in Scheduling department as assigned and directed. Handle department filing. Print labels as needed. Handle order preparation and verification. Handle plate and label inventory. Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards. Manage, create and ship transfer orders/items not produced at facility. Keep work area clean and organized. Follow all applicable food service policies and procedures. Follow all PPE policies, wearing steel toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets/beard nets, etc. as required. Follow all applicable procedures. Ability to meet consistent attendance and be punctual. Other duties as assigned by management.

 

\n High school diploma or GED Experience in a manufacturing environment is needed Must have basic Excel and Word skills – some MRP/ERP experience is preferred. Eligible to work in the United States.
