The Pediatric Specialty Clinic - Woodbury is a free-standing clinic that offers a wide range of services to pediatric patients seeking care from any of our several sub-specialties.  Some of the pediatric sub-specialties we see include; Neurology, Cardiology, Endocrine, Diabetes, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Weight Management, Sleep medicine, Pulmonology, Surgery, NICU Follow-Up, Nephrology, Dermatology and Urology. Many of our clinics are multi-disciplinary, which means we offer multiple specialty services within one clinic appointment. We are a supportive, cohesive team that is passionate about pediatrics.

What you will do as a Scheduling Coordinator:Serves as a single point of contact for coordinating care before a surgery, procedure or treatmentCollaborates and effectively communicates with patients, caregivers, providers, schedulers, and other care team membersMonitor and manage work queuesIdentify potential issues that could complicate care (i.e. insurance issues, adherence concerns)Partners with customers to resolve questions, and concernsFollows standard processes and workflows to ensure safety and reliability Deliver a consistently high level of service, and goes above and beyond to assist customersReview and respond to patient messages sent to the Epic in-box or through MyChartGather and document information to help facilitate communication between the patient/caregiver and care teamEnsure messages are addressed within standard timeframes, and escalate issues that need prompt attentionReview chart to piece together important information for the patient and provider.

What you will need:High School Diploma or GED2+ years of experience in a medical setting1+ years of experience in customer service

Location: M Health Fairview Pediatric Specialty Clinic - Woodbury (9680 Tamarack Road, Suite 130, Woodbury, MN 55125)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Compensation:

20.00 - 29.00 USD Hourly
