GILBANE has an immediate opportunity for a Scheduling Executive to support our Federal Division.  This person can work from our office in Jacksonville, FL, Concord, CA or Englewood, CO.

Gilbane is seeking a Scheduling Executive to be responsible for providing oversight and leadership for the planning and scheduling activities on all projects. This role will sit in the office and on job sites as determined by project needs.

Responsibilities Manage and control all scheduling data through project management software (Primavera P6, Suretrak)Recommend to regional and corporate management adoption of latest advances in scheduling applicationsInstruct Gilbane University courses involving scheduling and assist in developing new course contentAlign Gilbane’s and Owners’ schedule reporting requirementsMonitor multiple projects’ compliance with schedule policies and standards
Participate in complex phasing and logistics planning, incorporate outcomes in appropriate planning tools and present same to stakeholdersAdvise project teams on legal requirements in bid processes under various project delivery modelsParticipate in corrective action plans to address substandard customer satisfactionInstruct other scheduling staff in the identification and documentation of key risk issuesIdentify and assist in resolving critical issues relative to schedule and project controlsAssist project teams and the purchasing department in implementing contract requirements, especially cost and resource loaded schedulesCreate efficient means to comply with contract schedule reporting requirementsParticipate in development of Fee Proposal concerning scheduling requiremen Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

BS in Engineering, Architecture or related field10-15 years relevant experienceOr equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious experience working on a US Government / US military project is preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Current with industry trends & innovations and the potential impact on project schedulesPossess extensive knowledge of all facets of ConstructionExhibit understanding of legal implications of language in Gilbane’s Subcontracts and Trade Contracts and in Owner Contracts with Gilbane and Design Firms

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.    
For Colorado this ranges from $143,700.00-$197,600.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
For California this ranges from $159,300.00-$219,100.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
