Scheduling Manager, PMO
TerraPower is seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Manager in the Project Management Office (PMO) with subject matter expertise in project scheduling and support. This position will be an integral part of the corporate PMO, supporting and improving oversight of multiple advanced nuclear projects, including the Natrium advanced reactor project.
The Scheduling Manager oversees the creation, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and project deliverables. This role plays a critical part in monitoring schedule performance, coordinating with project teams, and providing accurate forecasts for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and management of integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Oversee the analysis of schedule performance metrics and prepare monthly status reports.
• Monitor critical path and project milestones to identify potential delays or risks.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop realistic scheduling assumptions and recovery plans as needed.
• Facilitate schedule risk analyses and implement mitigation strategies in coordination with risk management.
• Develop and maintain scheduling tools, templates, and procedures to standardize practices across projects.
• Provide mentorship and training to schedulers to ensure high standards of schedule management.
Key Qualifications and Skills
• 10+ years of experience in scheduling, planning, or project controls.
• Expertise in scheduling tools (i.e., Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project).
• 5+ years managing schedulers, planners, or project controls.
• Experience planning, executing, or control of a first-of-a-kind project exceeding $100M in budget, spanning multiple years, and involving multi-disciplinary teams of 100+.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Experience with advanced nuclear projects (preferred).
• The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent experience.

Salary Range Level 11: $125,257 - $208,762
Salary Range Level 12: $169,922 - $235,464
*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary bands. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
