Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Production Scheduling Manager to lead our scheduling operations and support the continued growth of our dynamic organization. This role is responsible not only for developing and optimizing production schedules, but also for managing a team of Master Schedulers and Project Coordinators, ensuring alignment across departments, and driving operational efficiency.
As a key member of the operations leadership team, you will play a critical role in establishing and standardizing scheduling processes to support scalability, improve workflow continuity, and meet evolving customer demands. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, and a track record of implementing successful scheduling systems in fast-paced manufacturing or supply chain environments.

Qualifications
Job Duties and Responsibilities
+ Manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives.
+ Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules.
+ Monitors production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources.
+ Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules.
+ Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
+ Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
+ Has full authority for personnel actions.
+ Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
Required Skills and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience
+ Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet, with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
+ Knowledge of ERP systems, Epicor is a plus.
+ Strong analytical skills; detail-driven individual with emphasis on accuracy with the ability to see the broader picture
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
