Scheduling Manager

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Manager in the healthcare industry, specifically located in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will be overseeing the scheduling of caregivers, ensuring compliance with agency and state regulations, and fostering a high level of patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the scheduling process to ensure caregivers are matched with clients based on their skills and client needs
• Collaborate with the Human Resources department to schedule replacement caregivers as needed
• Work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure continuity of care during emergencies and manage caregiver assignments
• Support orientation and training programs for new caregivers to ensure they are well-equipped for their roles
• Play a crucial role in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
• Maintain open communication with clients and their families to address any scheduling concerns or changes
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure care plans are aligned with client requirements
• Monitor and evaluate Coordinators’ performances to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Assist in resolving complaints, incidents, and problems as needed, providing guidance to Coordinators when necessary
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate logs for new, resumed, discharged, and denied cases, ensuring compliance within the department
• Run various daily and weekly reports to check for any discrepancies or errors, and ensure the necessary corrections are made
• Responsible for training new coordinators, providing them with the necessary documents and supplies to perform their duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in nursing home administration, with a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges of this environment.
• Demonstrated experience in master scheduling, able to create and manage complex schedules with multiple variables.
• Proven ability in team scheduling, ensuring optimal staffing levels are maintained at all times.
• Expertise in work scheduling, able to balance staff needs with operational requirements.
• Strong background in administrative oversight, capable of managing various tasks and responsibilities concurrently.
• Proficient in data reporting, with the ability to interpret and analyze data to inform decision-making and strategy.
