Role Summary:
The Scheduling Manager reports to the Supply Chain Director for the Industrial Americas and is focuses on leading a team of schedulers across the Americas. This is a critical leadership position that requires strong leadership and an ability to partner with operations leaders within the region and guide a regional team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and provide direction to all Americas assets
• Validate suggested plan out of OMP+ or other planning systems, adjust and check for optimal fixed detail and fixed volume plan
• Convert Zone 1 detailed schedule to process order for the Detailed Scheduler in Zone 0
• Audit capacity on a weekly basis to discuss constraints within supply chain, operations and execution team meetings
• Reconcile material availability issues with raw material planning resources
• Audit, adjust and maintain appropriate batch lot sizing to meet or beat customer service levels and operations optimization
• Review and update cycle times with operations management
• Schedule plant maintenance down time in ERP Systems
• Update and maintain material master data in regard to the new product introduction process
• Own and maintain MRP1, MRP2, MRP3, and MRP4 material master data in ERP Systems
• Create the weekly and monthly rough cut capacity to outline current capacity constraints within the asset.
• Weekly rough cut capacity escalates through a weekly execution review
• Monthly rough cut capacity escalated through the AIBM (Axalta Integrated Business Management)
• Suggest proper resource management per work center based on constraints and capacity analysis in forward looking weeks and months
Required Qualifications:
• SAP Domain (related to desk scheduling).
• 5+ years of direct leadership managing a team
• BS (open on the type)
• Master schedule experience; would consider CPIM or CSCP in leu of master schedule experience
• 10+ Years of progressive experience in supply chain or related roles in a manufacturing environment
