Job SummaryLeads and directs entry level and experienced scheduling professionals. Communicates within and outside of organization to explain and influence standardization, changes to policies, practices, or approaches. Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products. Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area and comprehensive knowledge within professional discipline.
Job Responsibilities Manager a team of scheduling professionals to meet requirements for business needs, including: Manage day to day assignments and operations of team Initiates training opportunities and responsible for team development Responsible for scheduling processes, standard work, and standardization Executes program scheduling for programs and supports team responsible for: Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines. May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area. Typically has comprehensive knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline and may have broad understanding of other areas within the job function. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. US citizenship required.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation). Competent computer skills related to Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Previous managerial or supervisory responsibility. EVMS experience.U.S. Citizenship required.
