**Position Highlights**
**Summary:**
+ The Scheduling Secretary is responsible for assisting with coordination of Occupational Health/Employee Health, compiling patient information, scheduling wellness events, hearing tests, respiratory screens, CDL Clinics and assisting Occupational/Employee Health Nurse Manager as needed.
**Education and/or Experience:**
+ Must have a high school diploma or GED. Secretarial experience is required, preferable in a health related field.
**Certificate, Licenses, Registrations:**
+ Must obtain CPR certification within 3 months of hire date. This position requires a valid driver’s license and must carry their own automobile liability insurance.
**Essential Functions:**
+ General clerical duties to include but not limited to filing, answering the telephone, typing, copying, data entry, and ordering supplies.
+ Compiles patient and departmental information (i.e. TQM, quarterly reports).
+ Assures that any consent forms and additional paperwork are signed prior to exam and/or testing.
+ Assists with general housekeeping tasks throughout the department.
+ Collects drug screening samples and coordinates paperwork for screening, administers breath alcohol testing and coordinates paperwork for testing. Conducts or assists to conduct hearing tests for employees, coordinates paperwork for testing, and prints final reports for all applicable companies.
+ Enters drug testing results into our DrugPak program as needed. Coordinates quarterly random draw for our drug/alcohol testing consortium.
+ Must complete certification to do DOT urine drug screen and breath-alcohol collections. Must be proficient in completing hearing tests. Training will be provided if needed.
+ Provides preventive maintenance to equipment and monitor its operation.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
