We are looking for English/Spanish speakers!
This is a school-based clinical Social Work position. Candidates will provide evidence-based individual, family and collateral treatment to school-age client and families while providing additional non-billable services (e.g. group therapy, consultation, observation, attending staff meetings), to the school. Licensed or permit eligible staff required – clinical supervision provided. Work schedule mirrors Department of Education with school recess vacations.
Conduct intake assessments to determine need for services and assess immediate risks with regard to self-harm or harm to others.Ensure that family/client perspective and expertise are prioritized throughout engagement with the school system.Identify possible referrals for families that address systemic needs supporting family stability, (e.g. housing/medical/food/legal) coordinating with team family advocate that referral appointments are kept, and follow-up with families 30 days post-discharge.Provide short-term crisis intervention/solution-focused interventions for enrolled students utilizing the agency electronic health record to document contacts consistent with programmatic and agency expectations and regulations.Follow HIPAA practices, and collaborate with quality assurance to meet best practices markers and goals.Attend relevant meeting with school leadership and school-based support team leaders to ensure communication of progress/updates on as well as plan for training/consultation and group interventions.Input data on referrals, sessions, and school activities into the DOHMH portal on a regular basis.Benefits for Full Time employees following the School Calendar:
