CiTi BOCES is currently seeking a NYS licensed Speech Language Pathologist. Responsibilities: + Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in school-age children. + Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs. + Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings. + Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ communication goals. + Assist in classroom modifications and accommodations to enhance communication access. + Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. + Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ goals and progress. + May work with students who have articulation, fluency, voice, or social communication challenges. Job Qualifications + Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). + State licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York. + Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). + Experience working with school-age children preferred. + Knowledge of special education laws and regulations. + Strong collaboration and communication skills.
