As a School Based Therapist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat clients based on their unique needs. You will conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and utilize evidence-based interventions to support your clients' growth and development.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Provide individual, group, family, and other practical counseling in various settings to meet client needs and treatment goals. 
• Complete intake/screening and comprehensive assessments within designated time frames. 
• Determine and document diagnoses based on comprehensive assessments. 
• Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with state regulatory standards. 
• Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings, providing feedback on pertinent cases. 
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure authorized services are approved. 
• Document all services provided in compliance with state regulations. 
• Assist clients through the transition process and complete necessary correspondence. 
• Represent the agency professionally within the community. 
• Handle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services as needed. 
• Facilitate group counseling, education, and individual sessions, including specialty services. 

 

 

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: 
• Must possess at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. 
• Holds licensure with the applicable board of professional registration for the state of practice as a professional counselor or social worker (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT). 
• Must be willing to become licensed in additional states. 
• Comfortable providing telehealth services (training will be provided). 

 

 

Additional Qualifications: 
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance. 
• First Aid and CPR certification within three months of employment. 
• Completion of mandatory training within specified time frames. 

 

 

Physical Requirements: 
• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects. 
• Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shifts. 
• Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally.
